I want to try to form some sort of form or language from the idea of smart objects invading one's home. Whereas my previous drawing created points from an arbitrary photo of a landscape in Ibiza, this drawing starts with imagining a home filled with smart objects. I then created nodes for where each of these objects go on a simple home plan and connected these nodes. There are two types of connections: Object - Object and Object - Hub.
Each category of smart object; Lighting/Heating/Plugs/Appliances and Smart speakers (in this case Alexa) was manipulated in 3 dimensions to create an abstract, geometric form, similar to that of the 'faraday cage' in my previous section drawings.
