The project initially explores 2 strands of persecution in the 21st century; the homogenisation of refugees and asylum seekers and the invasion of privacy and data mining exacerbated by the Internet of Things.

Using Ibiza as a testing bed, it proposes an infrastructure of TOR dwelling clusters, centred around a VPN data axis stretching from one side of the island to the other, within which asylum is obtained both digitally and physically. Through challenging the traditional notion of assimilation it not only provides basic protection, but empowers those who are plugged into it.
