After drawing how a smart home could connect and extracting an architectural language and form from that I want to explore on different scales.
I want to understand more about this massive, connected network of the internet. If I can understand(ish) how it all works. How does data the usage of my smart fridge in oxford get sent to a data centre in the Nevada desert? If I can have a better idea of how it works I can understand how to escape it.
I will now draw my research. Everything I learn I will try and create an architecture from it, however successful that architecture may be.
